WonderWorks Orlando Celebrates America’s 250th With a Summer of Magic

America is celebrating a huge milestone this summer, and WonderWorks Orlando is bringing the party to Central Florida! To commemorate 250 years of the country’s independence, The Outta Control Magic Dinner Show at Orlando’s upside-down house will be presenting the “Summer of Magic: Red, White and Wow!” throughout the month of July 2026. This is a new, special show guests of all ages will not want to miss, as it offers an exciting, magically patriotic tribute to our nation’s founding, giving everyone the perfect excuse to celebrate all summer long.

“When I began thinking about how to celebrate this milestone at the magic show, I focused on the unique qualities of the United States,” said Phillip Kaiser, resident magician at The Outta Control Magic Dinner Show. “Innovation, opportunity, and equal rights for all factored into creating fun, interactive magical moments that will entertain and amaze our guests!”

Orlando locals and vacationers alike can catch more magic than ever before at WonderWorks this summer. The Summer of Magic will be held at 6 pm and 8 pm every night in July, with an additional 4 pm show time every Saturday throughout the month.

The new patriotic-themed show, "Summer of Magic: Red, White and Wow!", celebrates America's history, innovation, and imagination through a series of magical moments. Guests will experience a celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, uncover the mysteries hidden within the American dollar, watch young audience members create their own wonder through interactive magic, and enjoy dazzling illusions and sleight-of-hand inspired by America's greatest innovations. The show also shines a spotlight on Florida's unique contributions to the nation.

Along with the patriotic birthday party happening on stage, guests can dive into a classic American feast of unlimited pizza and salad, unlimited beer and wine, and a tasty, themed dessert to wrap up the night. There will also be two specialty cocktails available for purchase: the Star-Spangled Sipper and Blue Liberty.

The show will be performed five nights a week by resident magician, Phillip Kaiser. The other two nights will take on a unique twist with featured performances from guest headliners, including Jimmy Rook, Matt Marberry, Scott Humston, and Neils Sayers. Tickets often sell out and can be purchased in advance online.

“WonderWorks is your go-to spot to celebrate freedom, family, and fun all summer long! Whether you are just stopping into our gift shop for a patriotic souvenir or grabbing a 2 Attraction Pass to experience everything the facility has to offer, our team is ready to provide you and your family an unforgettable experience,” said Brian Wayne, general manager at WonderWorks Orlando.

WonderWorks Orlando is hosting The Great American Summer of Wonder and offering a variety of fun and educational experiences in the coming months to celebrate our nation’s birthday. The celebration of America’s 250th anniversary continues beyond July, spotlighting how American innovation has helped shape the world of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics). The upside-down house is providing guests with an opportunity to explore American achievements, innovations, and history throughout their many interactive exhibits and attractions. The gift shop currently features America 250 merchandise perfect for collectors, including hats, magnets, t-shirts, plushies, and more to honor this milestone.

Guests can also visit the Illusion Art gallery, currently featuring “America The Beautiful, which showcases pieces from WonderWorks’ annual FLO-ART contest. This contest aims to feature artwork from local students around Central Florida. The winning students focused on bringing the contest’s theme to life with creativity, pride, and imagination.

In the café, families can fuel up for their upside-down adventure with the Red White & Delicious Family Meal Deal, where they can score a large pizza, four soft drinks, and four freezer pops for the patriotic price of $17.76.
